Nickel Alloy Flat Bars - Alloy 20 for engineering applications.
Alloy 20 contains niobium for stabilisation, which also contributes to enhance its corrosion resistance. Its high nickel content allows for a good resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, crevice corrosion and pitting.
Applications: chemical processing of sulphuric and phosphoric acids, nitric acid, food preservative manufacturing (phosphorus oxychloride, and phosphorus trichloride). Sulphuric acid pickling tanks, racks and heating coils; heat exchangers, piping, tanks, pumps, valves, gaskets, mechanical seals drums, racks, etc.
